Family Movies That Have A Moral
Some of the best family movies have a moral woven into the story. This gives children both entertainment and a lesson for life.
One of the most recent films to do this is “Tangled,” put out by Walt Disney Studios. This film is not only entertaining and funny, but instills in children the message of being who you truly are. Another family favorite is “The Polar Express.” This imaginative, beautiful film presents a young man facing his ability to believe in Santa Claus as he gets older. As he struggles to find the courage to believe, he also learns the value of friendship and faith in himself. Tom Hanks, playing several parts in the film, gives a commanding performance throughout the film.
“Mary Poppins” is another film classic that blends entertainment with life lessons. Children see the value of imagination and having a good attitude about the things in life. Julie Andrews gives her charming presence to the show, bringing to life a children’s book favorite.
